Blackpool Illuminations sees this seaside city of fun still buzzing with excitement & laughter long after other resorts have gone into winter hibernation. At 10kms long & using over one million bulbs the Blackpool Illuminations are an awesome spectacle and continue to pull in the crowds year after year.
The coach will depart Northampton Sunday morning arriving around noon, giving you a free afternoon in Blackpool. In the evening, after dinner you have the option of joining the coach for you to see the infamous illuminations in comfort.
To end the evening we recommend you pay a visit to the funny girls (drag show) Entry cost 2013 was £5.00 for an evening of entertainment..dancing and singing like you've never seen before.
We will leave Blackpool Monday afternoon around 3.00pm with a comfort stop on both the inward & outward journey.

Day 1 Arrival
We will arrive in Bath by noon for a full afternoon exploring this historic city at your own pace.before arriving at our hotel around 5.30pm to enjoy a welcome tea or coffee whilst our bags are taken to our room. Time to unpack before our evening meal.
Day 2 Bristol City Centre - 10 mile round trip
After breakfast, we will make our way to the city centre where we can spend time at leisure exploring this vibrant city. Full of shops, attractions, museums, art galleries, parks and the popular St. Nicholas market, we will have plenty to see and do. With the choice of any number of attractions to add on, we can enjoy a full day of discovering what Bristol has to offer. Just some of the attractions are shown below…

Day 3 Cheddar Gorge - 72 mile round trip
This morning, we make our way to the edge of the Mendip Hills and to Britain’s largest gorge. At Cheddar Gorge’s Museum of Prehistory, we will discover the story of the cannibalistic Horse Hunters of Cheddar Gorge and learn about Cheddar Man, who was buried in the cave 9,000 years ago and is the oldest skeleton to be found in Britain. We will take an open-top bus tour (assuming it is not raining!) above Cheddar Gorge and witness some of the most spectacular views of the Mendips before visiting the remarkable Gough’s Cave and Cox’s Cave (see access note below). Lunch can be enjoyed at one of the many restaurants in Cheddar and there are plenty of opportunities for sampling real Cheddar cheese and local cider products during our visit. We will return to our hotel in the late afternoon with time to relax prior to dinner this evening.
Day 4 Departure
After breakfast and check out we will begin our journey home. We will stop for a few hours a Royal Wootton Bassett before returning back to Northampton approx 5.00pm

Take the ferry from Holyhead to Dublin. Once you arrive at the Irish ferry port, make the journey on your coach to our Belfast based hotel. The drive from Dublin port to Belfast is approx 1 hour 40 minutes. Arrive at your hotel in time for dinner.
Titanic Belfast and sightseeing.
After breakfast, you have a full day to explore Belfast. Over one hundred years on from the launch of the world’s most famous ship, you could experience the amazing Titanic story in the city of her birth – Belfast. Experience a thrilling ride through Titanic’s construction in the shipyards, re-live the drama of her sinking and visit her wreck on the ocean floor all during your time at the Titanic Belfast Centre. As an additional attraction, visit the nearby shipyard and pump house where Titanic was built. In the afternoon, we highly recommend a visit to Crumlin Road Gaol. Here you will enjoy an educational guided tour of the Gaol which housed well known IRA members among other criminals from 1845, right up until the gates were closed one final time as a working prison in 1996. After a fun day, return to your hotel for dinner.
City of Derry or Belfast.
After an enjoyable Irish breakfast, why not visit the enchanting city of Derry and learn the fascinating history behind the 2013 UK City of Culture. First we embark on the most informative attraction in Derry – The Walking Tour. The specialised local tour leader will take you on an educational and emotional journey above and beyond Derry’s historical City walls to get a real insight into this fascinating City. After the tour, visit the enthralling Museum of Free Derry, an archive focusing on the civil rights era of the 1960s and the Free Derry/early troubles era of the 1970s. Afterwards spend free time within this historical City. Be sure to visit Guild Hall; home to the City Council’s chamber and Mayor’s Parlour. You could even wander over the Peace Bridge, Derry’s bridge built over the River Foyle to unite the City. If you would prefer to stay closer to the hotel there are plenty of other highlights to see in Belfast City including City Hall, St. George’s Market, St. Anne’s Cathedral, the Botanic Gardens and the Crown Liquor Saloon, a splendid gin palace and famous landmark – the perfect stop for a refreshment! After an enjoyable day return to your hotel for dinner.
Giants Causeway, Portrush and Bushmills Distillery.
After an Irish breakfast, take the behind the scenes tour of the world famous Bushmill’s Distillery and even have a taste of one of the various types of Bushmill’s. Afterwards, travel along the coast to the picturesque harbour town of Portrush. Take a stroll along the harbour and maybe even enjoy a fresh seaside fish and chip lunch! In the afternoon, on your way back to Belfast, take in the beautiful scenery en route to the Giants Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the 40,000 interlocking hexagonal columns, standing up to 12 metres high. Learn the exciting tale of Finn McCool and discover the on-site exhibition centre. Return to your hotel for dinner.
After a hearty Irish breakfast sadly we say goodbye to Belfast and cross the Irish Sea via Dublin to Holyhead.

Day 2 – Norden, Swanage & Poole
Depart the hotel and head for Norden where we will board the train to Swanage. From there we will embark on a sea cruise from Swanage to Poole with fish n chips lunch onboard followed by a pottery demonstration in Poole with free time.
Day 3 – Bournemouth
Guided tour of the Russell Coates museum & gallery followed by cream tea at noon and free afternoon at your own leisure
Day 4 – Portsmouth
